Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Aktagold. We hope you are happy with your precious metals’ purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and/or your precious metals savings plan for any reason, please read below for more information on the alternatives available to you.
1. Orders, purchases and returns
An agreement for Aktagold, Inc (“Aktagold”) to buy or sell precious metals means to you is made when you place, and we accept your order. Your accepted order price is calculated and locked-in at checkout. The description of precious metals, fees, and tax (if applicable) are agreed on between you and Aktagold when an order is placed, and we have issued your purchase order confirmation. You are responsible for all charges for purchase of your order as reflected in the order summary provided upon checkout. Placement of an order is a binding agreement. All orders are considered final, and once placed, you may not change or cancel them. Aktagold reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason. All precious metals sales to you are final and cannot be returned. You may, however, end your monthly contributions (AktaSavings clients) and sell your precious metals holdings (all clients) anytime, as explained in sections 2. and 3. below.
2. Ending your monthly payments
AktaSavings clients are free to stop or discontinue your monthly contributions to your Aktagold plan at the time of your choice. There is no minimum fixed term or mandatory period for making monthly contributions towards a plan.
You may end your monthly contributions by logging in to your account on Aktagold’s website, accessing the “MY PLAN” section, “Plan details” subsection. There you can click on “End Monthly Payments”. You will then be presented with a screen where you can check the box next to the option applicable to you:
“Bank account clients: I hereby revoke Aktagold’s permission to directly debit my bank account on a periodic basis, for my monthly contributions towards my Aktagold savings plan, as provided by Aktagold, pursuant to Aktagold’s Terms & Conditions, until this authorization is revoked.”
“Credit / debit card clients: I hereby revoke Aktagold’s permission to directly debit my card on a periodic basis, for my monthly contributions towards my Aktagold savings plan, as provided by Aktagold, pursuant to Aktagold’s Terms & Conditions, until this authorization is revoked.”
Upon checking the appropriate box and clicking the “CONFIRM” button, you will end your monthly contributions.
3. Selling your precious metals and withdrawing your funds
You may sell part or the totality of your precious metals holdings, and withdraw the proceeds anytime. There is no minimum fixed term or mandatory period for keeping your precious metals holdings. You are free to sell part or the totality of the precious metals held in your account.
You may sell your precious metals by logging in to your account on Aktagold’s website, accessing the “MY VAULT” section, “Sell & Withdraw” subsection. There you can enter the number of grams of each metal you would like to sell, up to the totality of your precious metals’ holdings. Upon clicking on “CONTINUE”, you will be prompted to confirm the details of your bank account designated for receiving the proceeds of your sale.
4. Disputes and refunds
If you are not satisfied with a charge made to your card or bank account, Aktagold encourages you to file a transaction review/dispute request directly with us. To dispute a transaction, please email Aktagold’s Customer Success Experience Department at firstname.lastname@example.org to file a transaction review/dispute request. Your email should include:
Your full name.
The email address linked to your Aktagold account.
Your order number and/or date of your purchase.
The reason why you are disputing the transaction.
We will review your request and respond within 3 (three) business days. If we confirm that, for any reason, you were improperly charged, we will reverse the transaction by selling the precious metals purchased with the disputed charge, withdrawing the proceeds of the sale, and depositing them into your registered bank account. The aforementioned precious metals holdings will be sold at the applicable sale price. Aktagold’s sale prices are directly related to market conditions/prices. The proceeds of your sale may be higher or lower than the amount of the disputed charge, as a result of varying market conditions at the time of the sale. Aktagold is not responsible for variations in prices. In this case, Aktagold is solely responsible for selling the exact amount (ounces) of each metal purchased as a result of the original (disputed) transaction, and depositing the proceeds into your bank account, minus any applicable wire-transfer or domestic transfer fees, within 7 (seven) business days.
The following items cannot be sold nor refunded:
One-time setup fee.
Monthly custodian fees
Annual management fees.
Wire-transfer or domestic transfer fees.
6. Card chargebacks and direct-debit (ACH) returns
Since all precious metals purchase orders are fulfilled immediately upon receiving your payment, in the event of a chargeback (credit/debit cards) or ACH direct-debit return (U.S. bank accounts), Aktagold will remedy the situation by either i) giving you the opportunity to make the payment again, or ii) by selling part of your precious metals holdings in order to recover the amount deducted by our bank / payment processor as a result of your dispute/return. The applicable procedure is described in section 7. below.
7. Disputes notified by our bank / payment processing partner
In the event that we are notified by our bank or payment processing partner of a chargeback (credit/debit cards) or a return (U.S. bank accounts enrolled in ACH direct-debit) as a result of a dispute directly filed by you through them, we will try to contact you in order to clarify the dispute and, if agreed by both parties, we will retry, with your prior approval, to charge your card / bank account for the amount of the original chargeback/return, plus a $30 (thirty dollars) chargeback/return fee.
If we cannot contact you within 3 (three) business days, or you do not agree to the aforementioned retry within 5 (five) business days, we will deem the dispute as unfounded/unjustified and proceed to sell precious metals in your holdings for an amount equivalent to the amount of the chargeback/return applied by our bank or payment processor, plus a $30 (thirty dollars) chargeback/return fee.
